Crystal Band of Scranton

Practice starts back up Monday, September 25th

Originated in 1879 the Crystal Band of Scranton is an all-volunteer community band in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Crystal Band averages yearly of approximately 50 woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians of all ages. The band plays a wide variety of musical selections including modern popular arrangements, light classical, pops, Broadway, Sousa, big band, and Christmas selections. The Crystal Band is composed of musicians, ranging from high school students to retirees. We invite any interested musician to talk to any of our members at a concert or join us with your instrument at a rehearsal. We practice Monday nights, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. September through June at First Baptist Church of Abington, Waverly, PA. New members are always welcome!
